Well, apart from my painkillers giving me strange mood swings, I have some good news! :)

Recently I found a friend of a friend, and to cut a long story short, I have a date with him :)

I know I told a lot of people that I had decided to stay single for the foreseeable future because I didn't feel comfortable with anyone anymore.
However, this guy is rare, he's nice, kind, polite, mentally stable and fairly cute and I feel totally comfortable with him. I do not have any anxiety or anything :D

Well, I can't wait to meet him :)

Well, I've moved into my new place. Seems nice enough. Well anyway, here is a quick rundown of things that have happened to me recently.

Today, September 1st, is my birthday. I'm 23, I feel old.. Not that 23 is some sort of a struggle to get to, I just feel "old" :)

Next up, my new jacket got shat on twice by birds in town, the next day, I got my £100 return from my bank.. I guess bird shit is lucky.

After a few drinks I ended up having a conversation about music and it's relation to LSD with a guy called Ben in the middle of the road outside my house at 11.20 for no apparent reason.

Well, a few good things have happened to me over the past two weeks.

I've finally managed to get my yellow sash at Kung Fu, yay me.
Secondly, after many, many years of searching and diging, I managed to get a copy of every single "Animals of Farthing Wood" episode. Since all the hard copies have been removed, deleted or destroyed, it made the job even harder.

Weee! Some good news at last!
I had my appeal tribunal today, trying to get my disability benefit back.
And, they agreed with me and have sent a court order to the DWP, saying that they have to reinstate my disability benefit and have to pay me over £2000 from backdated payments!

Okay, I've had two strange dreams now, I thought I might share them with you. Maybe you lot know more about dreams than I do.. Or maybe they are just silly dreams.

Okay, first dream. It really helps if you know a Japanese wrestler called "Tiger Mask". It started as a cartoon in Japan in the 70's I believe, later, the Japanese pro wrestling fedoration turned the character into a real wrestler.

Anyway.. I was a wrestler with a dragon mask called, wait for it, "The Red Dragon".. And I was the tag team partner of Tiger Mask (he wears a Tiger Mask... maybe that helps)..

Second Dream, I was still the partner of Tiger Mask, but he said he was going to retire. He gave me his mask and said "Your the new Tiger Mask"..

Funky, but strange. :D

Hiya everyone.

Well, looks like my training came in useful.
Today I was nearly a victim of assault. Some drunk bugger came out of a put and grabbed my arms, giving me a mouthful of drunken abuse, gods, his breath was terrible!

Anyway, I managed to turn and throw him off me. Good thing I started Kung Fu a while back no? He managed to get to his feet and was hurling rather crude verbal abuse at me, I considered following it up with a kick, but his 10 mates came out and dragged him back into the pub, adding to his abuse as they did.
So, I called the police on them, and they were all dealt with ^^.

Why am I up this late? Worrying mainly. It's it strange how modern life in the Western world can have us worrying about things that aren't really that important, but, pray on your mind something rotten in an attempt to get you down in some way. Don't worry, I wont let it, I just find it interesting.

Err, I hardly put anything in here, so I think I will just put some random stuffs from my week in and see what you think.

I think I need to get a new computer chair. This one isn't doing wonders for my back, and there is a strange stain on it that I hope to hell is coffee..
Also, if I sit on it without my shirt on, well, if you haven't seen my back hair, lets just say it's like peeling Velcro whenever I get up @.o.

Err, Kung Fu is going on well.. Why is it that I can do everything I want to do when my Sifu isn't there.. It seems any ability for rational speech or action goes right out the window. Mind you, I hope to get up to my next sash soonish, go me.

Next up, chewing gum.. Isn't it amazing what it can do these days?
I've gone through a packet, at my teeth are whiter than normal, and yes I do brush twice a day.

And on the one bit of amazingly bad news.. My favorite Mexican restaurant closed down, bastards :P.

Well, I have been doing Kung Fu for a few weeks now, a few lessons a week, though I am not going this week due to money issues (I get paid the day after).

It feels like my muscles have gone into atrify... Was a bit embarrassing when we were doing press-ups mixed with squats and my right shoulder collapsed.
However, the main cringe right now is that, my Sifu plans to make all the men in the class do the splits (both side and box) in a few weeks.. My inner thigh muscles are killing me o.O

Am I the only one that thinks Saint Patrick's days should only be celebrated by the Irish?
We know exactly why people over the pond celebrate it.. No, not because they had a great-great-great-great-great Irish cousin.. Because it's an excuse to get disgustingly drunk.
Do you seem them celebrate Saint Davids day? Saint Gorges Day, no celebrations on Saint Andrews day? No, because those holidays are a time to look back over your countries history and reflect on the good points and mourn the bad points.
I apologies to real Irish people, who celebrate their holiday however they want.
And to the aforementioned Americans and people all over the world.. Your not Irish, your American (or wherever).. You have enough national holidays already, don't bugger another countries national holiday as an excuse to get pissed.

It's a note I'm posting to all my friends. At a point in the future, when it's fiscally viable, I will be changing my real life name.
Why?
Truthfully, with all respect to my father, my name makes me cringe. I hate, really hate, being called "Al" or "Alex"..
It's always reminded me of an oafish idiot.. Every time I hear it, I cringe, simple as that.
Since now, I believe myself to be an educated, intelligent adult, I believe now, i have good grounds to alter bits of my life I really hate :)
